My Stitching Update

Hi all,
Here's what I've been working on:

This is my monthly SanMan Original jar. These are going to be lovely and I am doing them on one piece of fabric. They are very small ... maybe 1.5 x 1.5 inches?
I'm in love with this right now. I wasn't able to afford the brand new version of Sea To Shining Sea by Little House Needleworks. When I was shopping around for a "used" chart, a woman sold me hers when she saw that I was trying to buy another stitcher's sale and failed. I had NO IDEA I would be getting the threads. OH MY... I am in love with stitching with silk. It FEELS so wonderful. These pictures don't do it justice, but it is coming along beautifully!

When DH brought in the mail today, I opened this mid size brown envelope from Pam B. with a puzzled look on my face and out came the most beautiful ornament and scissors fob. It took my breath away. I REALLY loved it! You are so sweet to do this and I can see what a wonderful seamstress you are! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I LOVE surprises and this certainly was a wonderful one!


















Iris also surprised me. I heard her saying she was crocheting potholders and dishcloths and I was waiting to see a pic (as I am such a visual person). Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be one of the LUCKY recipients of such a thoughtful gift!!! :D

TGIF!!!
I have been so lazy, tired lately. Haven't been blogging regularly. Sigh...
Anyway.....

Here's my latest NEW design.



I've finally finished my PS, but - shame on me! - I haven't taken a pic yet.

It's been almost a year since I've retired and I'm just having a rough time this winter with everything holiday. I want to do so much but I am just physically and financially unable. Pffffffffffffttttttttt! LOL I do play my Christmas music, though. I LOVE that. Listen! I'm trying, really I am.

Well, I can't believe it, but it's true (so far so good). I will be one of the designers Blueladie Designs in the Needleshow, November 5-9.... :-o ! This may be an opportunity for me or a mistake. Only time will tell. Since it's a trial run show... it's free and I couldn't pass up the publicity at that price. Hope you will all wish me well or ask God to bless me with whatever is the best for me (I think that it's safer to put it in His hands... LOL).
