Well, what a last week of work. I have missed Monday and Tuesday because of snow and freezing rain and we're expecting more snow tonight and tomorrow morning. So ... I imagine I won't be at work tomorrow. :D I am so sad NOT!

I am almost done with my SanMan #1 12 Days of Christmas SAL. I'm working on the lettering now which is the easiest part. This is going to be nicer than I imagined because of stitching it on an afghan. :)

I made frosted sugar cookies today. The house smelled so good with the aroma and for supper tonight I fixed lemon chicken. It was a day well-spent for a change.

Happy Tuesday.

Well, my final week at work before I retire and I am spending most of it at home due to the weather. I awoke to a lot of school closings and snow outside. My DH decided since I am so close to retirement it is just not worth the chance of damaging me or the truck. I agree. The next couple of days promise to be about the same.

I am down to the words of my SanMan Originals 12 Days SAL #1. Almost finished just in time to start the next one Feb 1. :) Also need to do some work on my Prairie Schooler Christmas Village SAL too.

Well, don't have much else to say right now. Just wanted to write just a note. Have a great day.

January 9th

Hi. Hope all is well in your little corner of the world.

Otey and I returned from his tests today. He did fine (as far as we know). He's been very afraid of the test and the results because he's been having significan chest pains. While they were doing the stress test, he had another one and freaked everyone out. Come to find out it wasn't his heart it was the muscle that wraps around the lower part of the chest. Needless to say, Otey and I are much relieved to find this out.

We are expecting another ice storm this evening and it looks like that will cancel our Saturday grocery trip. I don't know whether to be sad or happy! :)

I wish you well and sometime later I will tell you about my stitching.

love, hugs and prayers,

Cathryn
