Delilah

About all I can think of right now is Delilah.  She had a chemo treatment on Monday and has been throwing up all night.  Becca (her mom-my daughter) is snoozing when she can because she's exhausted.  Michael (her dad) feels helpless to do anything.  Plus a few nights ago someone raced down their street at midnight and totalled their car.  They are feeling a lot overwhelmed.  As helpless as they feel, I do too because there is nothing I am capable and/or are able to do for them.

I just keep praying.  Thank you for your prayers and/or good thoughts.  They are much appreciated.

Cathryn

My prayers are with you and your family. My young cousin battled and conquered leukemia and I remember who heart wrenching it was after his chemo treatments. I hope you don't mind but I am sharing your blog with some of my stitching groups, as well as on my own page. I figure more prayers can never help.

here are the links to where I posted:

This is what I posted:

I thought I would share Cathryn's blog with my fellow stitchers and FB'ers. Cathryn is the designer for Blueladie designs which are very cute and usually very quick stitches. But she is also the grandmother to Delilah who was diagnosed with leukemia. If you could, take a moment to send prayers. She is also doing a fundraiser to help defray some of the medical costs. And finally for those that suffer from SABLE, she sells her own charts as downloadables (you can access her design site from her blog) and she also has a wonderful array of personal stash that she is selling.
